Garcia Band was formed in 2005 by a Costa Rican guitarist name Gerardo Garcia in
Since the beginning, the band has steadily gained a reputation as one of the most popular Latin rock bands in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area and offers an interesting fusion of music with a taste of Latin, Reggae, Rock, and many other styles.
Fueled by their intense passion for playing and their love for music and a friendly crowd, the Garcia Band has become well known for their liver performance on stage. The band calls attention from people that are interested in the music of the bank and the Latin flavor fused with Rock.
Gerardo Garcia took a break from live performances of his music for a year to prepare for the second album and continue writing more music. During this time he been playing and collaborating with other artists that present high energy shows in Dallas in places like Glass Cactus, Sherlock’s, Sambuca 360, House of Blues, Trees Dallas, Arena Theater in Houston and many other places. Garcia Band will arrive back on the live scene with a second album called La gente hace bulla, which fuses the Spanish and English languages in order to appeal to a multiplicity of cultures.
Whether performing the older original material from their first CD or adding new original songs from the current album, Garcia Band is planning on playing at some of the largest venues in the country, as well as private events in the Dallas area or any other town that is interested in rocking the house. The Garcia Band will pack the house….. then blow the roof off.
